Hoeness: "Ballack won't go for Manchester United"

Bayern Munich GM Uli Hoeness claims that german midfielder Michael Ballack is not thinking about signing for Manchester United.

When asked after his team victory over Arminia Bielefeld how United's loss off Roy Keane would impact contract talks with Ballack, Hoeness said: "I know Manchester United will not buy Michael Ballack."

Michael Ballack has stated he will not make a decision about his future before January.

Ballack didn't play in Bayern Victory

Bayern Munich defeated Arminia Bielefeld by 2-1 on Saturday, with two goals of Claudio Pizarro. Michael Ballack wasn't able to play the match because of an injury.

Bayern wiped out Bielefeld's 1-0 lead with goals in the 82nd minute and injury time, seconds before the final whistle. That matched Bayern's own record of 11-1-1 at the beginning of the 1998-99 season.

"To score the gamewinner in the last minute is certainly lucky - we didn't deserve to win," Bayern coach Felix Magath said.
